My Favorite Cereals Right Now in 2026

If you’ve ever stood in the cereal aisle feeling overwhelmed, you’re not alone. Between health claims, trendy packaging, and nostalgic favorites, it’s not always clear what actually supports your energy, blood sugar, and overall health.

What I look for in a cereal

I love to use cereal and granolas to add a nice crunch to my meals. As a dietitian, I look for products that balance taste with quality.

Nutrition guidelines I use:

  • Fiber: ≥3–5g per serving (supports fullness + blood sugar response)
  • Added sugar: ideally <5g per serving
  • Ingredients: simple, recognizable, minimal additives
  • Protein: ≥5g per serving is a bonus for blood sugar support and satisfaction.

Granola – Seven Sunday’s

This chocolate raspberry granola adds flavor and texture to yogurt, chia pudding, or oatmeal. It’s made with simple ingredients like almonds, coconut, and sunflower seeds, and lightly sweetened with dates and a touch of coconut sugar.
